Recently an “Official Selection” at the NYC Food Film Festival, the Zimlet is the most erotic drink ever invented!
“The Zimlet”
…probably the most erotic drink i’ve ever invented…
1 ounce lemon and thyme infused vodka
1/2 oz of agave nectar mixed with a 1/2 oz of boiling water
1/2 oz of fresh lime juice
a splash of Zima
Put everything in a shaker with ice and then shake it like a baby that won’t stop crying. If its still crying…Keep shaking! Strain over ice into a rocks glass and top off with a splash of refreshing Zima.*
*if you don’t have any Zima aging in your wine cellar or won’t be getting any shipments of Zima from friends in japan, just top it off with club soda instead.
Lemon and Thyme infused vodka
750ml of decent Vodka (Note: Absolut is not decent vodka)
The zest of 2 lemons
a few sprigs of thyme
Put the lemon zest and thyme in a blender with the vodka. Puree for a minute or so and then pour it back into the bottle and let it steep for a week in the fridge! Then strain and discard…the lemon and thyme, not the vodka!
